DREGOR
The Art of Life
“The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance.”
Aristotle
The Art of Life
Is it possible to define art?
The Oxford dictionary states that art is the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form, produced to be appreciated primarily for its beauty or emotional power. Art can also be subjects of study, primarily concerned with the processes and products of human creativity and social life. Or it can be a skill at doing a specified thing, typically one acquired through practice.

However you choose to interpret it, art is a way of grasping the world, revealing its splendor. It's about expression and sharing our experiences with the world. It is not about what you see but what you make others see.
I believe in channelling my creative urges in order to produce unique, awe-inspiring works of art that stimulate positive, philosophical thinking. My message and objective is to celebrate the miracle of life and connect us all through our common tribulations and delights.
Dregor was born through a combination of many traditions, of many experiences, of many beautiful and honest voices. The images and passages herein all sing of pain and wonder and the mystery of love. Art is how I battle against the indifference of humans and offer new ways of viewing the world. It is my legacy, my gift and contribution to the greater good of the universe. And, like most gifts, it is the passing of something meaningful between people that awakens us to our potential.
